The square grid shows the position of six points P, Q, R, S, T and U. Olivia stood at a point south-west of P and south-east of Q. She was facing Q and then she turned $135^\circ$ clockwise. What point did she face in the end?

Answer: 2

Worked solution

Olivia stands at the point south-west of P and south-east of Q. Facing Q (north-west) and turning $135^\circ$ clockwise turns her to face the east direction, towards point S.
